Plan the parcel, not just the product.

International cost depends on packaging, chargeable weight, route restrictions and destination rules. A product price is never the full landed cost.

Estimated weight and real weight are different

LoloBuy’s official explanation says estimated weight is used when a parcel is submitted and can combine the stored item weight with an expected carton weight. After packing, the parcel is weighed again. Packaging removal or reinforcement can change the final result.

Compare routes at submission time

A route that is attractive for one parcel may be unavailable for another. Destination, category, batteries, liquids, dimensions and declared value can all affect eligibility. Avoid publishing permanent “best route” claims because line availability and pricing can change.

Watch volumetric weight

Large but light parcels can be charged by volume rather than scale weight. Shoe boxes, rigid gift boxes and excessive protective packaging may increase chargeable weight. Removing packaging can reduce volume, but it may also reduce protection or remove an item you wanted to keep.

Declarations and taxes are destination-specific

Use accurate information and comply with destination requirements. The LoloBuy help centre states that some lines calculate tax using the declared value and that its interface may convert USD declarations using a live exchange rate. This is not universal tax advice.

Restricted goods need an explicit check

The official help centre maintains prohibited and restricted-item guidance. A product appearing in a marketplace or spreadsheet does not guarantee that every international route can accept it. Ask support when classification is unclear and do not rely on old route screenshots.
