Estimated weight and real weight are different

Early parcel figures can combine stored item weight with expected packaging. After packing, dimensions and weight can change. Packaging removal or reinforcement affects the final result.

Compare routes at submission time

A route that works for one parcel may be unavailable for another. Destination, category, batteries, liquids, dimensions and declared value can affect eligibility. Avoid permanent “best route” claims.

Watch volumetric weight

Large but light parcels can be charged by volume. Shoe boxes, rigid gift boxes and excessive protective packaging may increase chargeable weight.

Declarations and taxes are destination-specific

Use accurate information and comply with destination requirements. A shipping quote may not represent every destination-side tax, duty or handling fee.

Restricted goods need an explicit check

A product appearing in a marketplace or spreadsheet does not guarantee that every international route can accept it. Ask support when classification is unclear.
