One warehouse account, two different responsibilities

The practical difference between LoloBuy Shopping Agent and Forwarding is not simply who places the order. It changes who pays the seller, who communicates purchase details, which records should exist before the parcel reaches the warehouse and how a return can be arranged. Choosing the wrong workflow can leave a parcel without a matching record or leave the buyer expecting seller support that the forwarding service was never designed to provide.

This guide compares the public instructions available on 9 September 2026. Platform facts are identified from LoloBuy's Help Center; the planning methods are editorial advice. No fixed route, price, delivery time or warehouse-storage period is assumed. Those details can depend on the account, destination, parcel and current service screen, so they should be checked again when the order is created and when international shipping is submitted.

What LoloBuy's Shopping Agent workflow covers+

What LoloBuy's Shopping Agent workflow covers

LoloBuy describes Shopping Agent as a purchase workflow for goods from supported third-party Chinese shopping platforms. The buyer submits the product and exact option, then pays the product amount and Chinese domestic delivery shown for the order. LoloBuy purchases from the seller, follows the domestic movement, receives the item and processes it into the warehouse. International delivery is a later decision and payment after the buyer reviews the warehouse record.

That separation matters for budgeting. A product price is not a landed-cost quote. Record the seller price, domestic freight, any option difference, warehouse or value-added service actually selected, international freight and destination charges in different fields. LoloBuy's public guidance also warns that third-party product, quality and intellectual-property risks remain. Agent purchase assistance should not be interpreted as a product guarantee or authentication service.

What changes when you use Parcel Forwarding+

What changes when you use Parcel Forwarding

Forwarding starts with a parcel that the buyer, a Chinese seller or another sender is arranging independently. LoloBuy's guidance says the user should create a forwarding order first, choose the warehouse and enter the category, quantity, notes and requested services. The order is reviewed before shipment. After approval, the sender dispatches the parcel in mainland China and the buyer enters complete domestic logistics information against the correct forwarding order.

LoloBuy then receives and weighs the parcel, performs the applicable inspection and makes it available in the warehouse. The buyer can later submit it for international delivery. This workflow can fit buyers who already paid a seller directly, use a Chinese domestic marketplace account or have another person sending goods. It requires more coordination: the buyer must control the seller payment, approved warehouse details, domestic tracking, contents description and any return instructions.

Do not copy a warehouse address from an old guide+

Do not copy a warehouse address from an old guide

LoloBuy's current public pages are inconsistent about the forwarding warehouse location. The general forwarding guidance refers to a Guangdong warehouse, while the address-filling article refers to a Quanzhou warehouse. Both pages direct users to obtain the operational address inside the account through Forwarding and View the warehouse address. Both also say the receiving service is for parcels sent from mainland China, not shipments originating overseas, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan.

Because the official pages conflict, this article does not reproduce a fixed city or street address. Open the forwarding order in your account immediately before the sender labels the parcel, copy the displayed recipient name, phone number, postcode and address exactly, and save a dated screenshot. If a seller saved an address from a previous order, replace it with the current account record. Treat the live address attached to the approved order as the operational instruction, and ask current support before dispatch if any field disagrees.

Forwarding inspection is not the same as product QC+

Forwarding inspection is not the same as product QC

The forwarding guidance says the basic process checks for prohibited items but does not automatically count products or provide professional quality inspection. The buyer must select the available inspection option when basic quantity, colour or size checking is needed. Even then, LoloBuy says specialist assessment is not provided for electronics or other special goods, and sealed products may not be opened. A clean intake status therefore cannot prove function, authenticity, material composition or completeness inside sealed packaging.

The Forwarding Services Agreement also says selecting inspection can result in the original express box being discarded and the contents repacked, with stated exceptions for situations such as fragile or oversized goods or when the original packaging is part of the product. If no inspection is selected, the incoming parcel generally remains in its original express packaging and those basic attributes are not checked. Decide before dispatch whether evidence or untouched packaging matters more, and save the exact service wording shown for the order.

Create the order before the parcel moves+

Create the order before the parcel moves

A domestic tracking number is not enough by itself. LoloBuy has a separate help page for parcels sent without a matching forwarding order or without complete logistics information, and it describes those parcels as abnormal until the buyer supplies the missing record. That can make warehouse identification slower and creates unnecessary uncertainty about the sender, contents and intended account. The safer sequence is approval first, dispatch second and tracking entry immediately after shipment.

Use one spreadsheet row per incoming parcel. Save the forwarding order number, sender name, domestic carrier, complete tracking number, dispatch date, declared categories and quantities, inspection choice and warehouse-address screenshot. Reconcile the carrier's delivered scan with LoloBuy's forwarding status, but do not treat a carrier scan as proof that warehouse inspection and stocking are finished. The existing order-status guide explains why receipt and storage are separate checkpoints.

Returns require a different plan+

Returns require a different plan

With Shopping Agent, LoloBuy's purchase record connects the platform, seller listing and selected option, although seller approval and current after-sales rules still control what can be returned. With Forwarding, the buyer made the original purchase or sender arrangement outside the agent workflow. LoloBuy's forwarding return guidance instructs the user to add the seller's address as a recipient and submit a parcel shipment back to that address. That is logistics support, not automatic seller acceptance or an automatic refund.

Before forwarding anything that might need to go back, save the seller's real return contact, address, order number and written return conditions. Confirm who will recognize the parcel and who pays the domestic return. If the sender cannot provide a valid return address, record the purchase as difficult to reverse. For either workflow, keep the listing, paid option, warehouse evidence and support messages together, and act promptly when a visible mismatch appears rather than assuming an after-sales window will remain open.

Both workflows can meet at consolidation+

Both workflows can meet at consolidation

LoloBuy's current help material says stocked forwarded products and stocked Shopping Agent products can be selected together for a parcel, subject to the applicable maximum weight and system restrictions. The platform may prevent a combination for security or customs reasons. The ability to combine items does not mean one parcel is always cheaper or eligible for every route. A mix of bulky, fragile, branded, battery-containing or otherwise restricted goods can change the available lines and chargeable weight.

Compare the actual warehouse records after every item is ready. Test a combined parcel and reasonable split scenarios using the live destination, categories, packed weight and dimensions. Keep route eligibility, billing method and packaging choices beside each scenario. This is where the two workflows become operationally similar: once items are stored, international planning depends on the finished parcel rather than on who originally clicked the seller's buy button.

Build a decision sheet before paying+

Build a decision sheet before paying

For each product or incoming parcel, add columns for source URL, selected option, seller or sender, who pays the seller, domestic order number, forwarding approval, current warehouse-address evidence, tracking, contents, inspection choice, original-packaging priority, return contact, warehouse status, estimated weight and dimensions, destination and restriction questions. Mark information copied from a live source separately from your own decision. Use 'not confirmed' instead of filling a blank with an assumption.

A directory such as FindSpreadsheet can help discover product leads, but discovery should remain separate from transaction evidence. The seller listing controls the item description, the approved forwarding order controls receipt instructions, the warehouse record controls what arrived and the parcel screen controls current international options. This chain makes a spreadsheet useful after purchase, not just before it, because every important decision points back to the record that supported it.

Choose the workflow by the job you need done+

Choose the workflow by the job you need done

Choose Shopping Agent when you need LoloBuy to place the seller order, preserve the platform purchase trail and assist with communication around the selected listing. Choose Forwarding when the seller has already been paid or a mainland-China sender will dispatch goods that you control. Do not choose Forwarding merely because it sounds like a shortcut: it adds a pre-approved inbound order, exact address handling, domestic tracking entry and sender-side return coordination to your responsibilities.

For a mixed buying list, it is reasonable to use both. Record the workflow item by item, wait until each warehouse record is genuinely ready, then compare consolidation choices. A low-risk test order is sensible when a seller, product category or forwarding arrangement is unfamiliar. Keep the amount and complexity within a level you can tolerate being delayed or disputed, and judge the process from your saved records instead of a marketing phrase or another buyer's unrelated parcel.

Final checklist for agent purchase or forwarding+

Final checklist for agent purchase or forwarding

For Shopping Agent: open the current listing, specify the exact option and quantity, separate domestic and international costs, then review the warehouse evidence before shipping. For Forwarding: create the inbound order, wait for approval, copy the warehouse address from the live account, tell the sender not to reuse an old address, enter complete domestic tracking and verify whether basic inspection or original packaging is the priority.

For both: preserve source and payment records, resolve mismatches before international submission, compare current consolidation and route options, enter accurate contents and destination information and save the final parcel screen. Recheck every changeable rule in the account. The best workflow is not the one with the shortest label; it is the one whose responsibilities, evidence and recovery path match the way the product is actually being purchased and sent.
